Getting Started

What is SPLYT?

SPLYT lets you split the cost of yacht charters and water experiences with other members. Browse available experiences, pledge your share, and enjoy luxury on the water at a fraction of the price.

How do I create an account?

Download the SPLYT app and sign up using your phone number or Apple ID. You can then complete your profile with a photo, bio, and interests to connect with like-minded members.

Pledging & Splitting

How does pledging work?

When you find an experience you like, tap "Pledge" and choose your amount. Your pledge is a commitment to join the experience. Once enough members have pledged and the experience is confirmed, your payment will be processed.

What happens if an experience doesn't reach its goal?

If an experience doesn't get enough pledges by its deadline, it won't be confirmed and you won't be charged. Your wallet balance remains untouched.

Can I cancel my pledge?

You can withdraw your pledge any time before the experience is confirmed. Once confirmed, cancellation policies depend on the specific experience and how close it is to the event date.

Payments & Wallet

How do I add funds to my wallet?

Go to your profile and tap "Add Funds" on the wallet card. You can deposit using a credit or debit card. Funds are available instantly for pledging.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, a leading payment processor trusted by millions of businesses. We never store your full card details on our servers.

Account & Profile

How do I edit my profile?

Tap the Profile tab, then tap "Edit Profile" to update your photo, display name, bio, interests, social links, and home city.

How do I delete my account?

To request account deletion, please email us at support@splytpayments.com. We will process your request and remove your data in accordance with our privacy policy.
